Experience #13
All Night Long
Experience #13 was the kind of KCS night that starts elsewhere and ends back at the counter. We began with beer at one of our favourite local places, then came home for wine tasting, cooking and a set that refused to stay in the background.
The best part of the night was the conversation: social issues, war, AI, and eventually the question of how many chickens are in a stock cube. That is usually a good sign.
The menu was beef tataki, a Guinness beef burger with smoky bourbon sauce, and rhubarb and lemon posset. The music was All Night Long: high-energy tech house, familiar hooks, and exactly the sort of set that makes sense after dinner when nobody is ready to leave.
