This cocktail offers a refreshing twist on the classic Malfy Gin Rosa G&T showcased on their website. Typically, we'd never substitute Schweppes tonic water for Fever-Tree, especially with a delicate gin like Malfy. Schweppes tonics tend to be sweeter than Fever-Tree, which could overpower the gin's subtle flavours. However, after experimenting, we found that a splash of grapefruit juice beautifully offsets Schweppes' sweetness.
For this cocktail, the key ingredient is freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, ensuring a vibrant burst of citrus flavour. Combining Malfy Gin, grapefruit juice, Schweppes Pomelo, and Nepalese berry tonic water, this drink is elevated with a final flourish—a garnish of fragrant rosemary sprig, enhancing both aroma and presentation.
